My Two Centsss (Week 44)

1. Day 299 - The SUPER 25

2. Day 300 - Speaking Truthfully

3. Day 301 - #FuckYouWWE

25. Sin Cara (NEW)

The first new entry to this week's countdown comes to us from the man who is simply "faceless", Sin Cara. He may have fucked up his entrance a few times, and his debut match against Primo on Monday's RAW left much to be desired, but he should be a solid mid-carder in no time. As I've said, he will probably never become a world champion, but that kind of talk needs to cool down. After all, he just wrestled his first WWE match on television!

24. The Big Show (19)

"The Giant" was pegged as a favourite to win last night's 20-man Battle Royal, but to nobody's surprise, he came up short and was eliminated early-on. Considering that he also eliminated Ezekiel Jackson in the process, it seems like they didn't get their business settled at Wrestlemania. I would not be surprised to see a one-on-one match between the two behemoths happen on Pay-Per-View, either at Extreme Rules or Over The Limit.

23. The Great Khali (NEW)

Speaking of giants, the Punjabi Playboy has quietly been on a roll as of late. He won the annual pre-Wrestlemania Battle Royal last week (even though he shouldn't have) and defeated Long Island Iced Z, Zack Ryder, in the main event of Thursday's "Superstars" (even though he REALLY shouldn't have). Like it or not, the big man continues to impress.

22. Kofi Kingston (16)

I probably should have included this in Friday's column; what the hell is going on with Kofi Kingston? Ever since his feud with Alberto Del Rio last February, and dropping the Intercontinental Title to Wade Barrett, Kofi has fallen off the map. Sure, he teamed with Kane, Big Show, and Santino to defeat The Corre at Wrestlemania and then the next night on RAW, but he played a minimal part in both match-ups, and last night on Smackdown!, he was basically squashed by Big Zeke. Dare I say Kofi needs a heel turn or brand switch to return to the spotlight?

21. Chris Masters (17)

It's funny; everytime Chris Masters wrestles on "Superstars", he wins. But whenever he shows up on Smackdown!, he loses. WWE seems to be indecisive about what to do with The Masterpiece. They obviously want to push him, but don't want to go all the way. I think that's a shame because his current run in the company is going a lot better than the one in 2005 - just contrast the quality of his matches! Now that Wrestlemania has come and gone, maybe Masters will finally get a push up the card.

20. Daniel Bryan (11)

Much like Kofi, ever since he lost the United States championship to Sheamus last month, Daniel Bryan has been on a downward spiral. He is being featured less prominently on television, and is no longer dominating (or winning) his matches. I'm not saying Bryan is in danger of being released anytime soon, but he better find a way to get back on track if he doesn't want to become a weekly fixture on WWE "Superstars".

19. Kane (22)

Although his days as world champion may be long behind him, I would not be surprised to challenge either Christian or Alberto Del Rio in the near future for the world heavyweight championship (granted he doesn't get traded to RAW in the yet-to-be-announced WWE draft). Kane is one of a select few superstars who could be wrestling in the opening match one week and then feuding with a world champion the following week. For those of you who thought Kane would retire this year, I see him hanging around for at least one more Wrestlemania.

18. John Morrison (18)

For those of you who are pissed at WWE for putting R-Truth in the main-event of Extreme Rules, well, you can thank John Morrison for that. Considering his recent title shots, WWE obviously would have inserted Morrison into the upcoming Triple Threat had it not been for him and Melina dissing Trish Stratus at Wrestlemania. Personally, I find the whole situation ridiculous. What the hell makes Melina (who's a heel) believe that Trish took her spot on the six-person match at Wrestlemania? Melina hasn't even competed on RAW in months! If anything, Trish or Snooki took Kelly Kelly's part! Either way, because he listened to his airhead girlfriend, Morrison will not be competing for the WWE Championship at Extreme Rules. Way to go, buddy.

17. CM Punk & The "New" Nexus (8)

Taking a huge dip down the countdown is the man who came up short in his match against Randy Orton at Wrestlemania. He was so bummed out from his loss that he decided to take last Monday off. However, Punk's cronies seemed to miraculously recover from Orton's punt and screwed him out of the gauntlet match on RAW. The Orton/Punk/Nexus feud is far from over, but one has to wonder what kind of match they will compete in at Extreme Rules.

16. Dolph Ziggler (25)

Nice rebound for the former world heavyweight champion this week as he put on a solid performance in the RAW Gauntlet last week. Although I would have preferred to see him be inserted into the Triple Threat main-event at Extreme Rules instead of R-Fucking-Truth, he should be content that he was at least given the opportunity to compete in the match. The fact that he eliminated Randy Orton doesn't hurt either. I wouldn't be surprised to see Ziggler go one-on-one against John Morrison at Extreme Rules.

15. Drew McIntyre (12)

In case you're wondering why McIntyre is ranked so high on this week's list, he deserves some credit for having the match of the week with Rey Mysterio on Smackdown!. Sure, McIntyre lost again, but the announcers did a hell of a job putting him over, and he showed more of that aggressive side which he brought at the Elimination Chamber PPV. It may be a longshot, but I still think McIntyre will win a world title by the end of the year.

14. The Bella Twins (15)

I'm not even sure who is the divas champion. Is it Brie? Is it Nikki? Honestly, it doesn't matter. What's important is that EVE IS NO LONGER THE CHAMP! WOO-HOO!!!

13. Cody Rhodes (20)

I am so glad that Rhodes defeated Rey Mysterio at Wrestlemania 27. Because even if Mysterio evens the score at Extreme Rules, Rhodes will forever hold a victory over Mysterio at the biggest PPV of the year. Furthermore, Rhodes continues to get creepier and creepier with his new, "darker" character, and it's working - he's slowly becoming one of Smackdown!'s biggest heels. Hopefully he can keep that momentum going after the draft next Monday.

12. Jerry "The King" Lawler (24)

Following his HUGE, yet tainted, victory over Jack Swagger last week, Lawler takes a big leap forward on the Super 25. While it will be entertaining to see Lawler team up with long-time friend Jim Ross at Extreme Rules, I certainly hope this will be the final chapter of the ongoing Lawler/Cole saga, as well as Lawler as an active wrestler. Including his upcoming match at Extreme Rules, Lawler will have competed in three consecutive PPVs this year. That's kind of scary.

11. Sheamus (14)

Now that the dreaded King of the Ring curse is behind him, Sheamus continues to take Monday Night RAW by storm. He has dominated everyone in his path, so much so that I think a move to Smackdown! next week is undeniable. In less than two years, Sheamus has feuded with all of RAW's biggest and brightest stars. Let's see if he can continue to find success on a different brand.

10. Randy Orton (7)

Dangerously close to dropping out of this week's top ten is The Viper, Randy Orton. As we all knew, Orton's business with CM Punk was not quite settled as the other Nexus members interfered to screw Orton out of the RAW gauntlet match on last week's show. As a result, Orton and Punk will square off in a Wrestlemania rematch on tonight's show, which I'm sure will lead to a third and final match at Extreme Rules. Since I'm predicting an Orton switch to Smackdown! next week, it makes sense for WWE to rush their feud, unfortunately.

9. Jack Swagger (10)

If you read yesterday's column, then you know exactly how I feel about Mr. Swagger. The weak loss to Jerry Lawler on RAW last week hurt The All-American American, but he quickly rebounded on Smackdown! by making it to the final two of the 20-man Battle Royal. Lisp or not, face or heel, big things are in store for Jack Swagger, ladies and gentlemen.

8. The Corre (5)

It's funny. Now that each member of The Corre is at the other's throat, they seem to be finding more success than they did before. Barrett, Jackson, Gabriel, and Slater defeated "A.P.P.L.E." on last week's RAW, Jackson beat Kofi Kingston on Smackdown!, and Gabriel was among the final four participants of the 20-man Battle Royal. I'm a bit discouraged to see them fall apart so quickly, but maybe it'll be for the best.

7. Rey Mysterio (6)

Mysterio had a hell of a night on last Friday's edition of Smackdown!. Not only did he put on a thrilling contest with Drew McIntyre, he continued to get in Cody Rhodes' face (or mask), and was one of the final three participants in the Battle Royal. Although WWE's website teased it, I hope Mysterio never comes back to RAW full-time as he offers a lot more to the blue brand than he would on Monday nights.

6. The Miz (1)

Although the WWE Champion is no longer at the number one spot, Miz has nothing to be ashamed of. He made history on April 3rd when he walked into Wrestlemania as the world champion and left with his title intact. There aren't many heel world champions in WWE history who can say they did the same thing. Going into Extreme Rules, Miz has to be the early-on favourite to once again leave with the title. If you haven't already converted to Team Awesome, it's not too late to get on board.

5. Alberto Del Rio (4)

Some say he was robbed at Wrestlemania. Others say it's only a matter of time before he wins the world heavyweight championship. I disagree with both statements. I'm a huge Del Rio fan, but even if he didn't announce his retirement, Edge should have gone over clean at Wrestlemania. Del Rio isn't quite ready to carry Smackdown!, and Edge deserved a world title defence at the Grandest Stage of Them All. That's also why Christian will become the new world champion at Extreme Rules. But more on that in a bit.

4. R-Truth (NEW)

Let's get a couple of things straight, folks. R-Truth is wrestling for the WWE Championship at Extreme Rules for two reasons, and two reasons only. First, this spot was practically guaranteed to John Morrison, but then he had to be a dick to Trish Stratus on Twitter and Wrestlemania - smooth. As a result, Truth gets the main-event slot instead. Second, whether it's Miz or Cena who wins at the PPV, Truth will be the one giving up the pinfall. WWE can build Truth up all they want in the next couple weeks, but he's only in the match to be the fall guy. And that's the truth!

3. Christian (NEW)

As far as Christian is concerned, this was the absolutely best moment for Edge to retire. As long as Edge was a face, Christian was probably never going to eclipse his best friend as the brand's top good guy. Now, he has the chance to take the ball and run with it when he faces Del Rio in a ladder match at Extreme Rules for the vacant world heavyweight championship. Many people think Del Rio will become champion, but I'm not so sure. The newcomer has months, years, to win world titles, while this may be Captain Charisma's last chance to break the WWE glass ceiling. #Christian4Champ!

2. John Cena (3)

We all knew the rivalry between Miz and Cena was far from over, but I'm glad it's not going the same way as Cena's feud with Batista did last year. Miz continues to get the upperhand against Cena, and with R-Truth, Cena's "buddy", added to the mix, Miz might find another way to come out on top at Extreme Rules. Those of you who think WWE will give Cena the WWE Championship next month and have him hold it until Wrestlemania 28 are ludicrous. They might call him 'The Champ", but Cena probably won't be wearing gold anytime soon.

1. Edge (2)

Taking the number one spot for the very last time is the former 11-time world heavyweight champion, Edge. It was an emotional past week in the WWE as The Rated R Superstar said his farewells on both RAW and Smackdown!, while the locker room and the entire WWE Universe went into mourning. Edge has had his fair share of hiatuses from television, but it's hard to believe we will probably never see him compete in a ring ever again. Thank you for everything, Edge. You will be missed.

For the first time in years, WWE made me care about R-Truth last night. Was it a perfectly executed heel turn? Hell no! His opening promo with John Morrison was pretty much a bomb, apart from the water-drinking part, which was hilarious. Truth's post-match assault on his former best fiend dragged on way too long, and you could feel the crowd slowly losing interest. Furthermore, Truth being the moron that he is, spoiled the surprise for many of his fans when he "accidentally" Tweeted what was going to happen moments before RAW went on the air. I guess he's not good at telling time, either.

Despite all that, I think R-Truth pulled off an effective heel turn last night. He hit Morrison with some stiff-looking shots, and controversial as it was, the smoking angle played out well. Granted, the "That's Illegal" chants almost made the situation humorous, but by the time Truth left the arena, the fans were booing him like crazy. Even the dumb fucks in the audience who sang along to "What's Up?" just minutes earlier were saying things like "You suck Truth" and "Think of the children!". It was borderline hilarious.

Many people are wondering where this heel turn will lead R-Truth. Why would WWE replace Truth with Morrison in the world title match at Extreme Rules, only to spend a good portion of RAW reinventing Truth's character? If anything, shouldn't have his heel turn taken place last week instead? Folks, the answer is simple. While there's a possibility that WWE may change the upcoming Triple Threat match again and make it a Fatal 4-Way to throw Truth back in, I think WWE has bigger plans in mind. As in, putting the WWE Championship around his waist in the future.

Did reading that last sentence make you sick to your stomach? I don't blame you. Whether he's a heel or a face, R-Truth is the last man on the planet I want to see win a WWE world title (after Hornswoggle, that is). However, since Sheamus will most likely be drafted to Smackdown! next week, and The Miz is the current champion, RAW has a shortage of main-event heels. And that will become a problem when John Cena eventually defeats Miz for the WWE Championship. From Smackdown!, there's not many heels who can be drafted next week and feud with Cena for the title. Barrett versus Cena has been done to death, and so has a heel Big Show versus Cena. Cody Rhodes isn't ready, and neither is Alberto Del Rio.

Which leaves us with R-Truth. Not only has he never feuded with Cena before, but they were friends in the past, dating all the way back to last year's SummerSlam. Furthermore, Truth is no stranger to world title matches. He has competed in two Elimination Chamber matches, one for the WWE Championship, and the other for the World Heavyweight Championship. He may have only been there to fill up the pods both times, but that's experience nonetheless. In other words, if WWE book him strongly over the next few months, R-Truth could become a legitimate threat to the WWE Championship.

But does that mean Truth will actually win the world title? I honestly do not know. Considering that a good portion of the WWE Universe (mainly the IWC) hated Truth prior to last night's RAW, he should have little difficulty getting the other age groups to despise him as well. I somehow doubt WWE will allow him to light up a cigarette and blow smoke on his opponent every week, but judging by what we saw last night, Truth seems comfortable as heel. Instead of singing his entrance theme every week, he could preach about unfairness or berate the audience for "butchering" his theme song over the years. Something like that.

The truth is, I don't want R-Truth to get a main-event push, especially on RAW. I'd much rather see John Morrison, Dolph Ziggler, or CM Punk be in Truth's position instead. However, there's a reason WWE deidicated a quarter of yesterday's RAW to a superstar who is no longer advertisted to compete at Extreme Rules. Nope, WWE has something big in store for the now-evil R-Truth. Rather than whine about it right away, let's wait and see what happens. He just might surprise us.

Writer's Note: Telling you now, this is going to be more of a rant than a column. I know I promised a special column for today, but I have to get this off my chest. If you have no interest in RAW Superstar Zack Ryder, feel free to skip today's column. Thank you.

Taken from the main page of LOP:

WWE ordered O2 Arena security to confiscate all signs from fans relating to Zack Ryder at yesterday's Monday Night Raw taping at in London, England.

The Raw Superstar has been encouraging fans to bring Ryder related signs to WWE events, such as "Broski of the Week." He often goes on Twitter acknowledging Ryder signs shown on television. He asked for an image of the "Zack Ryder = Ratings" sign that briefly appeared on Raw. That too was confiscated.

Ryder was backstage at last night's show, but was not used.

WWE, you make me sick. I mean, you’ve done some pretty low things over the years, but this is despicable. You always complain that you’re unable to “create new superstars”. Jeez, I wonder why. Maybe it’s because you continue to push superstars and divas that nobody gives a shit about? Nobody liked Michael Cole before he turned heel last year, and now that his storyline with Jerry Lawler has run it’s course, the fans are tired of his act. But what do you do? You keep pushing him – he’s not even a wrestler! Oops, an entertainer, sorry. Another example: Eve. Throughout her entire reign as Divas Champion, she got zero reaction. Zip. But what happens? She holds the title for months. That’s greaaaaat booking.

Primo. The Usos. Ted DiBiase. Yoshi Tatsu. Curt Hawkins. Tyler Reks. JTG. David Hart Smith. I could go on and on, but you get the point. Nobody cares about any of these guys, and they’re not even making an effort to be noticed. In my opinion, they’re the front-runners to be released in the coming week. However, you have yourselves a young, charismatic superstar in Zack Ryder and what do you do? You confiscate his signs. Wow, real mature. Ryder goes out of his way to develop a fan base and gain the company some recognition on YouTube, and he gets punished for it? That’s really pathetic.

In all fairness, there may be another side to the story. According to several “broskis” who attended the RAW tapings in London, security wasn’t taking away all signs related to Zack Ryder. Furthermore, WWE could have confiscated the signs for different reasons. Maybe they’re going to repackage Ryder and have him debut on Smackdown! next week. Maybe they had no plans to use Ryder on Monday and they didn’t want the signs to distract viewers from the superstars who actually competed on RAW. Maybe none of this means anything.

But what if that’s not the case? What if WWE does plan on releasing Ryder and they want to erase him from television? That would be really fucking stupid. I mean, if more fans brought Ryder signs to RAW than they did for Randy Orton and John Cena, the WWE has a problem. There are obviously a lot of people who WANT to see Ryder be used. In their minds, Ryder = ratings = entertainment. For one reason or another, they want to see Ryder instead of Super-Orton or Super-Cena. They’re not even being violent or discriminating with their signs – they’re just trying to support Long Island Iced Z.

I read somewhere that Ryder is “cheating” by telling fans to bring “Broski Of The Week” signs to RAW, which is therefore forcing WWE to push him. That’s a load of bullshit. If Ryder is willing to email an autograph to every single person who sends him a picture of them wearing his T-Shirt, how is that a bad thing? He is not only giving back to his fans, but he is moving merchandise. Even Triple H stated in a recent interview that “younger guys have to find a way to get themselves out there and stand out from the pack”. Well, isn’t that what Ryder’s doing? He’s not waiting for the WWE to wake up and smell the coffee – he’s taking matters into his own hands by producing YouTube videos which get tens of thousands view per episode!

What I don’t understand is why WWE is trying to silence their fans. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and if they’re crazy about Ryder, let them show it by bringing their home-made signs to RAW. WWE are looking for new stars to push? Well, here’s one who is not only over with the fans, but is also a good talker, and far from being a slouch in the ring. For some reason or another, they just seem unwilling to pull the trigger on Ryder at this point in time.

That being said, I promise you this. Should Zack Ryder actually be released by WWE through no fault of his own, I will quit watching WWE. No more RAW, no more Smackdown!, no more ordering Pay-Per-Views. As much as it would kill me to do so, I would exclusively tune into TNA and ROH. Hell, I would even stop posting columns on the main page. That’s how disgusted I would be with WWE and Vince McMahon. All the money I spend buying shirts, DVDs, and PPVs from their product would come to an end. I would quit WWE cold-turkey.

Go ahead, WWE. Confiscate Zack Ryder signs all you want. Remember the backlash you felt when you released Daniel Bryan? Fire Ryder and you’ll go through it all over again. During PPV matches, “We Want Ryder” chants will randomly break out, and you'll have to live with them.

So stop fucking around and just push Zack Ryder, already.

*****

Song Of The Day: Nothing. I'm pissed.

Sorry if today's "column" was all over the place. You all know how much I love Ryder, and you'd probably do the same if your favorite superstar was in the same position. Hopefully tomorrow's entry will be more on the positive side.

Since I know you're DYING to leave me feedback, here's what you can do:

a) Send me an e-mail at captain_charisma16@hotmail.com

b) Befriend me or message me on Facebook (www.Facebook.com/Super.Chrisss)

c) Follow me on Twitter at twitter.com/chrisss16

d) Take the lazy way out and leave a comment below. Your choice!

As always, keep supporting my boy Zack Ryder anyway you can. Haters, you're not welcome.
